[Question] why can't samsung release major updates or patch updates to all supported devices at the same time like Apple does? Really curious about it. Thanks!

There are multiple points to this. Because its (strangely) based on region. Every device has a CSC (Country Specific Code) which varies on which country you bought. Another point is that Samsung has tons of models from J all the way to the Z Fold series, so it will take some time. Plus, Samsung also needs time to design the Android One UI skin, which Google builds.

Hello SyedTipuTabrez. I am Avinash, from Samsung.

Thanks for your feedback. We'll be sure to share this with the team for review and improvement. We wish to highlight that firmware upgrades are released gradually only after passing several technical tests and will be released batch by batch. We seek your patience and kind understanding in this matter. Have a nice day!

Thank you.

Well, do you think Samsung can handle such a large scale deployment to all their supported devices?

Just look at how they handled One UI4 rollout to only S21 devices.

I'm still wondering why Samsung chose S21 to be the first when there are older models ...
