Altitude from photo

Is there any data on altitude or height on captured photo? How to view ?

I don't think there's info on altitude on stocked picture. Not sure for separate apps though.

You mean the phone has the data when we snap photo but need special apps to see the altitude?

Phones like Galaxy family indeed has barometer sensor to measure altitude, maybe not available for entry level phones though. The altitude info is currently being used in Samsung Health, specifically for activities feature.
Camera and gallery apps however don't enable or made it available. Possibly, other external apps has this feature but I have yet to discover.
