Totally agree! Samsung Service Centre can't resolve my issue either. The same with their chat support, phone support, email support. Standard template troubleshooting reply...

Yes. Even Google Maps crashed. It is very irritating when you are using Google Maps to navigate your driving directions and it just crash.

So far, I encountered issues with:
1) WhatsApp
2) Facebook
3) Instagram
4) Facebook Messenger
5) Google Maps
6) Singpass
7) UOB TMRW
😎 Google Pay

Welcome to the club! Enjoy your stay until Samsung comes up a new patch. My mobile connection has been murdered by One UI 4 for almost 11 days and counting... I have already performed factory reset, and it still cannot be resolved.

From my humble view, i dont think a factory reset will solve the problem, neither it is a long term solution for future firmware upgrades.

Agree. I did the factory reset out of curiosity. Interestingly, when I was using iPhone before switching to Samsung, I have never ever performed a factory reset to resolve any problems from iOS upgrade.

To be fair, Apple has its own issues with its firmware upgrades. They are however, very transparent and provide its customers with a commitment/deliver the patch very quickly after the disclosure of the issue.

Samsung seriously have a relatively large gap in this area to improve on.

Perhaps @Kingjshow, since you mentioned you are a Samsung Creator, i presume you have direct access to feedback to the team. You probably want to collate the voices of what end users are shouting about here and give them a good feedback on how things can be improved instead. I think you are aware that for every service trip we make to Samsung, it is additional work load for them. And to make things worst, it is not an adhoc walk in thing now. All visits require an appointment to be made.

The botched update has been pushed down for 10 days by now, we are still waiting very patiently for the fix. The frustration is increasing as days goes by.

'Samsung Creator' has left the chat. I doubt you'll get a reply or solution from him ... 😅

I think we are all still waiting for a solution. This botched update has been pushed down for 3 weeks.

Not sure how long more we have to wait. On the side note, i can confirm the issue is consistent across S21 Ultras.

I installed the same update on my other S21 Ultra, did a factory reset and re-setup the apps on that phone. Issue persist. So yes, hard reset doesn't solve the problem.
