After (not even a year) some time using the phone with and without case, I started noticing a small gap on the side because of back panel minor raise (circled in red).

I was thinking it was probably because the heat loosening the glue seal. Granted that I live in such hot and humid climate but I also have an older Galaxy A30s that suffers the same back panel glue issue (after 1 year of use) that it's basically a removable back panel now.

I have a brother that uses V!vo phone from 2018 & the back panel is still intact...and here I was wondering if it was really really a Samsung issue.

And now I'm doubting the IP68 water ingress protection on my S21 FE bc I often take my phone in shower to play music 😥 (great speakers tho).

Also if you're wondering what happened to my A30s 😀
Battery is still fine, in fact still very good battery life. I still use it daily as a second phone. Very light use only (tiktok, ig, youtube, spotify etc).20230328_095551_1000043091_1679968553.jpg20230328_095608_1000043092_1679968570.jpg

Is really hard to say. I do have some phone with the same situation as you but the battery is seems Ok with no bloated too. So far it happen to me like 2-3 years old devices.

It might be due to:

1) Hot weather

2) Running application at the back which make the heat

3) Charging the phone

4) Wipe the phone using alcohol swipe, water, etc. (actually i don't really got high hope on those IP68 thingy, lol)

Or maybe the model i have is really unlucky where the glue is not sticky enough. So is just a question mark to the user. Lol.

For me, i just go to a trusted phone repair shop to get the glue back.
