I'm using S25 Plus with the latest version of One UI 7.

The battery drains like hell and drops after every tip, with caution taken to save battery life.
From 87% to 74% (a 13% drop) within almost 5 hours!! My wife is using an iPhone 14 Pro, and it only dropped 2% within 2 hours with similar usage.
Please, Samsung, we appreciate the new UI supported by the powerful processing chipset for the S25 lineup.
But please resolve this in the coming version without awaiting One UI 8, as battery health will decrease over time before even a software update, and then it will be useless ❗️❗️
PLEASE SAMSUNG SOFTWARE TEAM, BE AS IT IS AS YOU EMPHASISE TO BE 🙏

Galaxy Sno way! S25 Series has Snapdragon 8 Elite with 3nm fabrication, there's no way this beast will drain your battery. So yea definitely something is wrong with the OS that cause battery drain

Processor and software complement each other, but it's the reverse if the software isn't well-developed and only serves to sell the processor as the Unique Selling Point (USP). Then Samsung only cares about profits rather than its user experience and loyalty.

After the update received on June 22, 2025
My S24 Ultra battery is draining super fast too! Before the update, it lasted so long but now even after I charge it to 90%, it drops to 88% in like 2 mins, even without using the phone
This happened after my phone was off while charging and I turned it back on
There's definitely an issue which is draining the battery in this new update

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's happening globally, actually, and it seems like the Samsung team sometimes takes time to come up with software updates to tackle this issue or with some news updates for users to be alert.
Please don't just silence after making profit and focusing on the upcoming fold device ❗️. Keep care of your current users that's the ture #samsung
