If your phone diagnostic shows that your battery life is weak, it’s advisable to replace the battery. A weak battery can cause your phone to shut down unexpectedly, and it may also lead to other issues such as slow performance and reduced battery life. It’s best to replace your phone’s battery with a new one to ensure optimal performance. You can replace your phone battery at the nearest Samsung Support Centre.

Thank you for your advice. Do they need to do a factory reset to change the battery? Will I lose all my information?

No, a factory reset is typically not necessary to replace a phone battery. The battery replacement process is usually a hardware-based procedure that doesn't involve software changes.
However, you should still back up your data before any hardware-related repair. This is a precautionary measure to ensure you don't lose important information in case something unexpected happens during the repair process. You can back up your data to cloud or a connected computer.
