I recently came across an inconvenient issue—I noticed that the black color used by Samsung in the interface (at least on the S25 Ultra) isn't truly black. If you take a screenshot of the settings menu and zoom in on the "black" part in a dark environment, you'll notice that the screen remains lit, showing a grayish tone where you can see the pixel grid (test this in the dark with maximum brightness to make it easier to spot).

I then noticed that the same issue occurs in other apps as well, such as YouTube. For example, when searching for a video with a black screen, the same grayish tone was visible. However, I found that when using the device in QHD+, the issue on YouTube disappeared, leaving only the Samsung interface affected.

So, I believe this is a bug related to the system and app resolution, somehow preventing true blacks from displaying properly. I tested this with and without any visibility enhancements, with and without dark mode, and without the blue light filter—the issue persists in all cases.

Has anyone else noticed this?

The top bottom is truly black, the half bottom is the Samsung one, look and see, max brightness and in the dark, you will notice.1742395036591.jpg
