As the title suggests, my home screen stops working randomly, like theres something drawn over it and any touch interaction is ignored. Only the bottom part can be interacted with.

Only restarting fixes this problem.
My phone is only a week old.
I've attached the video screenshot of the problem and my software version.

If after factory reset doesnt help, could b screen or motherboard issue.

It also occurs with other launchers the way to fix is just screen off and screen on fixes this in most of the cases

So I figured out, the issue is when a conversation bubble fails to open correctly, the overlay stays in the home screen and blocks touch. I've turned off conversation bubbles and I haven't had any issue since.
