Hey Members,

People everywhere are reflecting on 2022 coming to a close—like Spotify Wrapped playlists, Newsprint reading habits, Meta’s Year in Review recap, and the growing number of people sharing their #2022eras, which has already amassed 53 million+ views on TikTok, or their #2022recap, which has 156 million+ views.

For those who are feeling the FOMO, Galaxy users can now review their year and celebrate their own #2022Eras by creating a custom Story or Highlight Reel straight from their Gallery! Using media in your Gallery, you can now quickly whip up a video of your year in review in a matter of seconds. Simply follow the steps below to start sharing your #2022Eras videos!

Step #1:
Open the Gallery app and pick your favorite photos from throughout the year. Once you’ve got the photos you want, use Gallery’s full suite of tools to edit and add to your images. Adjust the color and settings and choose from an array of filters and stickers to make your photos look exactly the way you want while adding some fun and personality along the way. Or try Suggestions, which automatically recommends edits to make your photos pop.

Step #2:
In Gallery, make a Story or Highlight Reel. For a Story, go to More and choose Create Story in the dropdown menu. Now, you can select your favorite photos to create a slideshow of memories. For a Highlight reel, click the dropdown dots in the right corner and select Highlight reel and then select your favorite photos from 2022. Customize it with text, music and more to signify each of your 2022 “eras.”

Step #3:
Save and then click Share to instantly post your 2022 lookback on social media.

And voila - you've got your very own Highlight Reel to share with your friends and family! Tag us @samsungsg to share your year with us or comment below to let us know what do you think of this feature.
