Galaxy S23 Ultra: November 2023 Security Update

Galaxy S23 Ultra users are getting a new update with the November 2023 security patch to improve system security and stability. This new update is based on Android 14 One UI 6.

November 2023 security patch fixes dozens of security flaws that were discovered in the previous version of the software running on phone. It addresses 48 CVEs related to the Android operating system, 15 SVEs related to One UI software, and 2 CVEs related to Samsung.

Is this update available in the US? My last update was the security patch level: October  1, 2023. When searching for an update, I only get 

"Couldn't download update

The server has reached its daily download limit. Try again tomorrow or update using Smart Switch on your computer."

Try restarting your phone and downloading the update again.

My s23 ultra (verizon) says under Download and Install that I am up to date with the October patch.  How can I get the latest patch if my phone doesn't think there is one?

Updates for other carriers may take some time to roll out.

Many of my Apps are now hanging on start up since this update. Sometimes uninstall / reinstall can help, sometimes not. Incredibly frustrating.

Bring your phone to the nearest Samsung service centre for troubleshooting. It is likely caused by a software issue.

Since updating my phone, I can no longer have my apps page in draw or vertical mode. Very annoying and not happy!
