Galaxy SGalaxy S23 Ultra has a peculiar camera issue in its One UI 6.1 update. Specifically, photos taken with zoom levels between 16x and 19.9x exhibit noticeable ghosting and blurring, prompting Samsung to halt the update's rollout and prepare a fix. Samsung prioritizes the best camera experience in its Galaxy S Ultra smartphones, leading to this proactive response.
For users who have already updated to One UI 6.1 and frequently use the affected zoom range, the temporary solutions are :
1. Switching to medium quality optimization in the camera app settings, the ghosting and blurring can be eliminated.
2. Opt for the Samsung Expert RAW app, which offers similar image quality to the stock camera app but limits zoom to 20x and provides advanced camera controls.
Note: The issue doesn't affect the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus, so the update is still available for these models over the air.

Hopefully, at the same time, the camera performance can be further improved, not only by correcting the software optimization errors.
