I've been using my S21+ for only 1 year 3 months and NEVER have I drop my phone. The day before it, was working well. But the next morning when I woke up to my surprise this green line appeared on my screen. I looked up for solutions on Google and YouTube to see if I can rectify this issue but to no avail. Surprisingly there are other users experiencing the same issue since Galaxy S7 and most of them suggested to send in to Samsung for a repair. I called the Samsung service centre and explained the issues I'm facing. I understand that my warranty has ended and most phones have a warranty of up to 1 year. But it's unfair for those other Samsung users who took care of thier phone well and this happened. I checked with the service centre about the repair work and it would cost me $300 to $400. I'm really disappointed in Samsung, I thought that the more latest or up to date phone would be better but this issue has been the same for years. I can't believe that my old Iphone 10 can last for more than 3 years without me having to put up any protective cover and it did dropped a few times before also.

Maybe that's a good idea .Actually I thought I wanna use my S21+ abit longer but this issue happened. All I can do is just wait for another 6mths for recontract then maybe I can opt for the extra 2 years warranty with a new phone. But perhaps IF I get a Samsung again🤷‍♂️. Anyways thanks for the advice, I didn't know till you brought this up😊.

Same thing with my s21 ultra. Purchased in Canada, now I am in Brazil and guess what I have just learned? Samsung only repairs devices that were purchased on the same country, even though is still under the warranty... what a joke. probably my last Samsung ever

I too have similar issue now.. Customer care personnel asking me to pay S$366 for the display which comes with free battery replacement + S$150 samsung voucher..

Are they joking??

After having this kind of quality issue why i'm gonna buy one more samsung product .. i never expected to have such a bad quality product even under flagship range models.

Hi All,

I have been using S21 plus for the last 1 year 7 months. I received an OS update yesterday and some time after that, I see a green line on my s21 plus screen.

Is there any way to resolve this. I think my s21 plus is already out of warranty.

Does this need a repair/replacement?
