Light mode helps to improve the phone’s performance by adjusting its processing speed and ensures optimum battery consumption. When operating in light mode, the device uses less power compared to normal mode with no impact on usage. You can continue to browse the internet, and social media, make phone calls or play videos.
To enable the Light mode feature, go to Settings >> Battery and device care >> Battery >> More battery Settings >> Select Performance profile >> Select Light mode. You can also add Performance profile to the quick panel to easily turn it on/off.
Note: Light Mode is currently only available on Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 4.
