Hi,

Has anyone encountered an issue where the accidental touch protection doesn't engage when blocking the sensors second time? The first time the accidental touch protection engages, but once you move your hand away from the sensors and block them again, it doesn't engage unless you turn the screen off and on again. This issue is quite annoying, especially when my phone is in my pocket and I'm trying to pick up calls with my Galaxy Watch 6 while working. The accidental touch protection just doesn't engage sometimes, and I end up tapping something I didn't intend to.

update : When the screen is on before something blocks the sensors , the accidental touch protection will also not engage when something is blocked

Yeah tats possible too.. try cleaning your screen or screen protector gently. Maybe oil or dust accumulated?

how about disabling the "raise to wake" and "double tap to turn on" options. these will totally disable the screen when it's off

I've noticed the same issue with accidental touch protection on One UI 6.0. It's really frustrating when the feature works the first time but fails to activate again unless the screen is turned off and on. I often end up accidentally triggering something when my phone is in my pocket. can you help me fix the issue?
