After 6.1 update, a system app called 'Contact Storage' is draining the battery. Kindly advise if anyone found a solution as Samsung support is not helpful and only solution for everything by Samsung service is to factory reset even though hundreds of people in forums are saying its not fixing problem.
So far I have tried following.
- Wipe cache partition
- safe mode
- clear data and cache of 'contact storage' app.
- limited battery usage of 'contact storage' app
- clear data, cache , remove/add accounts in Play Store Services app
- Battery optimization checks
- reset all settings
Only thing left is factory reset which is too troublesome + as per hundreds of people with same issue in forums, factory reset is not helping either.
