Hello Samsung and Samsung Fans/Users
It has been around 7 months since the s22 series was released.
It seems like the camera option for 4k60fps still have not been full intergrated for zooming in when taking videos vs 4k30fps and below(meaning 4k 60fps cannot switch lens to UW, 3x and 10x while recording. It only does a digital zoom unfortunately which compromise the quality badly).
Can samsung please push an update on this? I didn't expect samsung to hold out so long on this, the snapdragon 8gen1 is powerful enough despite the overheating issues. Please let us users have better choices. Thank you

I totally agree with you. You can change lenses in all other modes, but not for 4k60fps and 8k24fps. All you can do is to pick the lens before recording and thats it. It's a big pitty and shame for samsung that this is not doable here.

I have feedback to samsung about this but I don't think they are going to update for this? Haven't notice a camera update push to us since earlier this year. Yup quite a pity despite, I mean if they are concern about the overheating in 4k60fps, they can limit it to 5minutes.

Just contacted Samsung support in Poland. They don't know when the future will be introduced nor have any idea about even high level plans of such implementation. In other words, they don't care and it might be that they will never introduce it. What is very funny, they've said that they will register this as a suggestion. When I asked for the ref no. of this case, they said suggestions are not registered against any numbers or tickets :) I don't even know if this was registered at all. If they don't assign any ref numbers, how can they be sure about any trends  or customer needs? How they know on what they should work next, to satisfy customer needs?

If they are concerned about overheating, then why recording works indefinitely on all the lenses separately? Switching between them should not generate such a great computing power consumption to cause overheating. Especially if this works for all the other modes. But if this is the case, then I agree time limitation or other means to mitigate would be good.

Samsung, as a customer, I'm very disappointed. Not only with lack of such basic feature, but also with the customer support you provide.

Well as an individual we can only feedback so much and so forth to our respective country's samsung, not too sure will our feedback be even heard by the developers. I think Samsung still has a long way to go on videography as compared to an iPhone. We can only hope they push their limits on development, so we as consumer would benefit. Yup I am feeling the same as you, just disappointed, I could go on more and more about some of these missing basics features and this is my first Samsung phone in the world of android :(
