Today I got the most infamous green line in my S22 Ultra display, Flagship phones are enduring these issues is very surprising and I want to question the manufacturing methodology in Samsung. First and foremost,I want to get rid of the annoying green line from my screen ? This phone is almost 2 years and 4 months old and bought in Singapore. Are Samsung patrons able to replace the display, what's the process involved in it for Singapore Customers ?

Least to say, I am very much disappointed with Samsung for not fixing their long standing issues.

another day another green line issue

the only solution is replace your screen, yes samsung service still have stock for your S22U screen replacement

if you want freedom from green line issue, make a little research and find a smartphone with screen panel made by BOE not samsung, something like one plus 12 or 13 have screen from BOE and they are AMOLED screen too

same like finding best System on Chip, always go with TSMC instead of Samsung fabrication

Thank you, makes sense to pay attention to these details when we are spending a fortune while buying phones. Expected flagships should be better, this is so so wrong from the manufacturer at many levels. I will try to get to the Customer care and see what awaits me there.

Oh my God, didn't go to customer care yet. But this is exorbitant pricing for the issue that Samsung should avoid at first place.

Most worst thing ever happened in my life of buying a Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra (2 devices) and Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra now I regret for purchase of Samsung Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra the issue happened just after warranty period and I had reported it last year and the customer care told me they would replace the display for free and I only need to pay service charge of SGD 54.00. Upon going to customer service last year Oct 2023 they told me I need to bare the expenses for the replacement of display which costs more than SGD400.00+. This phone I had gifted for my wife on her birthday in March 2022 then after a careful usage of the phone in May 2023 first got a white think line on top of the display and few days later display started to flicker and got Pink/Green vertical line on the middle of the screen. Upon reporting the issue multiple times to Samsung customer care in Sept 2023, customer care decided to get the display replaced for free of cost and then in Oct 2023 I went to Samsung service where they told me I need to pay full amount for the repairs which cost SGD400.00+

Totally understandable..This phone is gifted by my wife as well. We are just wondering now why we went with Samsung at first place. Definitely regretting, considering everyone's view..I don't think customer care will be supportive of my case. Will try nevertheless, this is a crime of highest order and I wonder why they're not getting penalised for this yet.
