Hello, does anyone here know why my S24 ultra suddenly stopped charging after 5 mins after I plugged in the charger? I'm using the samsung 35W travel adapter btw. I tried to change the travel adapter and used the 3rd party adapter instead and it worked, my phone still can charge (using the same cable i used with the 35w adapter). And I also tried to charge my galaxy watch using the samsung 35w adapter and it worked too... does anyone here know how to fix this problem or should i get a new travel adapter with lower watt instead?

you should get 45w instead, that is the correct watt for s24 ultra

no problem, its preferable to always use original adapter. if no option left then go go for 3rd party adapter

s24 = 25W
s24 Ultra = 45W

Probably your Samsung adapter stops working when it's producing high current or voltage, or the adapter itself is on high temperature.
Charging a watch works because it only uses very low current, so my suggestion is for you to buy a new adapter instead.
All the best.

Noted on that. So, should i get a lower watt or higher one?

I have an S22 U and two PD adapters, one with 90W and the other one 65W. Both adapters work well and charges in superfast charging 2.0 mode.
If you get a higher wattage adapter, you could prepare for future use, ie a biggger wattage phone. No need to worry as both phones and adapters are smart in such a way that if your S24 U is connected, maximum allowable wattage is only 45W, albeit a 90W adapter is used.
