Hi Samsung Fans,

I got my phone and I was inquiring about my missing screen protector that I purchased as part of RM 400 voucher from pre-ordering.

One thing led to another and this Samsung Rep insisted that all S23 series comes preinstalled with a PET screen protector. (Can anyone confirm?)

I was sure there is no such screen protector installed on my device. Samsung Rep challenged me to bring my device to Authorised Service Center for inspection. I called ahead 2 service centers Gardens and Lowyat and inquired about these amazing claims made by the Samsung Rep but of course the answer I got from technician is no, they don't come pre-installed with PET (plastic film) screen protector.

Not only the customer representative provided false information to customer, but they are actively fabricating lies saying the screen protector is invisible to the naked eye and we can't feel it. Wow if there is such a technology why Samsung still selling their own PET screen protectors.

In a world where more companies are offering products at more competitive pricing. What makes Samsung think gaslighting their most loyal customers that preordered their devices is the right strategy.

Maybe the one working at the live chat doesn't know that 🤔 😕 get the phone checked at the service centre and bring the whole box let them see

I called ahead 2 centers just to entertain this live chat agent, but in the end decided not to waste petrol for nothing haha

Yes, the screen protector is always visible, if it's missing, it's missing, in the end I end up not using screen protector

iknow PET screen protectors are transparent, but they shouldn't be "not visible to the naked eye" 🤣 the gaslighting is real
