Since the recent update on my S23 Ultra, I've noticed that notifications no longer wake the screen. Typically, I could see messages on the lock screen without unlocking my phone.
Even after exploring settings, searching online for solutions and performing a factory reset, the problem persists. Also, I'd rather not use Always On Display (AOD) due to the impact on battery life.
If others are experiencing a similar issue, or if you have any advice on resolving this, I'd greatly appreciate your help.
I am currently using the edge lighting to wake the screen, and I can see brief text popping up but I prefer lock screen notification because I can read and see messages without having to touch or unlock my phone.
