Galaxy S
I have S25 free sim card version bought from Japan and try to insert different country's sim card.
The sim card was working fine with original phone. When I insert it to the S25, it shows the card and phone number corresponding to its setting, but it is always "no service" and only "emergency call is available". After that, I tried to put it back to the original smart phone, this sim card is then no longer working, and unfortunately, on all phones it doesn't work anymore.
The setting of country code was changed by root which is hided from the system?! Or whatever setting of sim card seems to be changed, which tries to destroy the sim card itself.
And this happened to me already two times with two different countries' sim cards and lead to a very unpleasant situation that I cannot use my sim cards anymore. For first time, I thought maybe it is coincidence, but since two times happened under the same situation, I think S25 software is doing something to the sim card.
Does someone has the same issue? Or how to resolve the problem?

Since you purchased it from other countries, the phones might be locked to that country as different devices from different market might have different antennas in them.
