For some reason post the upgrade the phone appears a lot more slower for me and additionally the Apps seem to freeze a lot.
E.g. 1 - Spotify in the background gets hung and then additional apps when launched don't do so.
E.g. 2 - Restarting the device and booting up takes longer and also post restart the time it takes to launch apps is significantly longer.
E.g. 3- Transitions and animations are dithered (have turned them off)
E.g. 4 - Youtube or Facebook Feed scroll up on Video - there is now half-n-half of two videos instead of one single video showing for some reason.
E.g. 5 - Apps just take more time to load up.
I am not sure if this is an Optimization phase or will persist for longer - I have had the UI7 for 2 days now. Not sure if anyone else also has similar issues. It just does not seem refined or optimized enough anymore. Saving Grace: Visually I think it does look better on the UI.
P.S: I do not use AI features - never wanted them in the 1st place - just wanted a simple and smooth UI experience with the latest security patches.
Hi there - All my Apps are up to date - I would not have made the comment otherwise. The issue has started after UI7 update - the handset is very laggy. Will observe over the next 2-3 days if it subsides - don't think I need to reset any apps - I am fairly technical and dont see any issues with the App themselves. As for feedback - yes noted and will send crash reports as and when they generate.
