I have an S22 running Android 15.

It has an esim which I would like to use for all data.

It needs to connect to a misc device via WiFi. This device does not have an Internet connection.

It needs to hotspot to a windows Surface, so that that Surface can also use the data from the esim.

It needs to be constantly connected to the surface via Phone Link.

Both devices need an active Internet connection for Phone Link to work.

All of this needs to happen while the S22 is connected to another via WiFi.

It should be as simple as excluding WiFi from Internet usage, so that the phone's data and hotspot uses mobile data only.

This doesn't seem to be possible though, which is utterly ridiculous considering the cost of all of these devices.

Why can't we use them how we want to? These are not Apple devices, how do we access the settings to enable us to use the device how we, the consumer, wants to?

I've resorted to downloading a third party app, 'Speedily', which has enabled me to connect to the WiFi device and use mobile data at the same time, but the hotspot still doesn't work.

What's going Samasung and when are you going to fix it?
