Why does samsung s 22 ultra battery drain so fast

I bought an S 22 ultra an I can hardly getb6 hrs of screen time..can samsung please make an update to consume less power like the s23 an 24 ultra I don't wanna buy a next phone

I am aware that Samsung's Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is more power hungry than the one's made by TSMC, but the issue is likely that your battery health is low. You can run a diagnostic test in this app by going to Support tab on the bottom > then Phone diagnostic. If everything is good there the issue is with your apps. Put the ones you don't use in Sleep or Deep sleep to improve background app usage. I can get 6 hours of screen time on my s10e and my battery is 1900mah smaller so this shouldn't be the case for you

I have s23 . I charge my battery to 80% and would get 1 day and half on that charge. Did you run a battery test using the diagnostics ?
