Wi-Fi 7 on One UI 7

I’ve been using a WiFi 7 router since last year, but back on One UI 6.1, the WiFi 7 logo never showed up on my connection. Just realized I’m finally seeing it now. Was Samsung limiting WiFi 7 support on One UI 6? My X200 Pro and 16 Pro Max showed WiFi 7 from day one with the same router. Anyway, glad I can finally rock WiFi 7 now!

yes, special for S24U it has the WiFi7 chip inside but get unlock once it reach One UI 7

S24+ and S24 regular only has WiFi 6E

Yeah I just discovered today that for the S24 series, only the Ultra has WiFi 7 capability. But it was unusable on One UI 6.1. Glad they’ve finally unlocked it now 🙏🏻
