so few weeks back, me and my friends went hike and we stopped at the waterfall and we all went swimming. I'm using Samsung S21+. As we all know, it's water resistant. I took pictures in the water for like 5 sec, as soon as I took the picture, I didn't wipe it with dry cloth 😅 I let it sit in backpack, after an hour hiking we reach our car and I realize that my camera went foggy and the screen glitches. I immediately turn off my phone and wait it to dry for a few days. I also put it in rice. After 2 days, I took it out and diagnosed my device. Surprisingly, everything works fine until I charge my phone. Sometimes it works fine but sometimes doesn't. It says "overheat." Even if my phone doesn't connect to the charger, it makes a sound. It's kind of an alarm sound. Well, it's time for a new phone, I guess, or I should change the battery or the charging port 🤔

there's probably a moisture that still exists within your charging port. try to send it to the nearest service centre for diagnostics

There's a difference between waterproof & water resistant. Water & electricity surge - once kena, it's difficult to resolve the issue.

It's time for an upgrade. Wait for s24 or s23 prices to drop

As far as I know, the water resistance is getting weaker from time to time, so for phone models that has years old, think twice before you take photos under water 😄
BTW I think you can go for a diagnostics at service center should you want to keep the phone.
