Ive received my Galaxy Z Fold 3 months back now.
From my interaction with it for these past months, the most obvious functions that I'm facing are below:

1. Cant find the sim manager function to enable the e-sim function
Refer screen record where the sim manager should appear at

2. Some function especially Call ID & Spam Protection has been grreyed out & I cant seem to figure out why or how it has been disabled.

Refer screenshot of the functiom greyed out below

image

Additional Info added :

While I was going thru the settings menu, I noticed something under the Default Apps, where I've set Phone to be it's default app for. Caller ID & Spam Protection
And yet, when checked under Phone settings, it's still shows as greyed out

Refer to below screen recording for more info

Any one has any idea on how to fix this ?

3. Also, mydevice gets really hot often. Is that normal?

4. And how long does the rest of Z Fold 3 users able to keep their phone on without charging ?

Did you purchase the unit locally, meaning it's for SEA region? Point 1 and 2 is enabled based on region so if the unit is not originally from SEA, it's then disabled.

If you purchased the unit from Samsung Malaysia or authorised dealer, then the unit for SEA region. Normally there's a sticker on the box showing the info. If the unit was purchased via online, most likely it's from US or other region. I'm not sure how to check it but pretty sure uncle 'Google' could help.
ESim and Caller id option is network dependant, hence regional restricted.

Ohh.. yeah i bought it locally

So basically its not that the app or module app i.e. Sim Manager is missing or require installation, right?

Itll appear based on the network provider

Check the SIm toolkit at Setting - App - search for SIM toolkit. What SIM toolkit version?
Then flight mode on, power off the phone and remove the sim card. Power on the phone and disable flight mode. Power off and insert back the sim card.
