I had a whatsapp on my phone and no games but i had a gaminh hub application. Later on i added my WhatsApp app to gaming hub to use some other features. My whatsapp diseapeard from home screen and menu. Later i got my whatsapp out of gaming hub, but i still was not able to find the WhatsApp. You could o ly access it through search button. Then i deleted gaming hub, and still there is no any icon of WhatsApp application. Only in search bar.

When you put your phone on charge it doesn't charge yout battery but give power directly to phone, so when you pkay games while your phone in charge, you don't drain your battery. I needed that function for whatsapp beacue when i doo important videocalls i usually don't have charge, and do videocall while my phone is on charge which damages battery a lot

It sounds like your WhatsApp app is still installed but its icon is hidden due to the Gaming Hub integration. Here are some steps to try and restore it to your home screen and app drawer:

1. Check if the app is disabled
* Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp
* If you see an option to "Enable," tap it.

2. Move WhatsApp back to the home screen
* Open the App Drawer (where all apps are listed).
* Search for WhatsApp, then long-press the icon and select "Add to Home Screen."

3. Clear the launcher’s cache
* Go to Settings > Apps > [Your Launcher] (e.g., One UI Home or another launcher you're using).
* Tap Storage > Clear Cache (don't clear data, as it may reset your home screen layout).

4. Restart your phone
* Sometimes, a simple restart can refresh the app icons.

5. Reinstall WhatsApp
* If none of the above works, uninstall WhatsApp and reinstall it from the Play Store.

Let me know if the issue persists!

2) when you long prees the whatsapp on search bar it has only two options 1) locate the app (which just crash) 2) uninstall. However when i long press other applications they have 3rd option add to home screen.

- Restart i did, nothing changed
- Cleared the cash of gaming Hub.
- Whatsapp is enabled

I DON'T WANT TO REINSTALL MY WHATSAPP, I WILL LOSE ALL DATA!

Hi Siyaru,

You will need to do a backup of Whatsapp to Google account, this way all your data will still be in the account (you will need to login using the same account later), then uninstall and reinstall Whatsapp.

Based on your situation there could be some missing/corrupted files in Whatsapp that may be causing the crash - unfortunately the best way is to reinstall the app.

Hope this helps.
