Earthquake alert

Hi all samsung members, did you guys receive a earthquake alert on your galaxy mobile. I've just received it but I can't retrieve it again... what is going on? I read it as stated there is an earthquake at Indonesia few minutes ago.

Probably your timezone is Indonesia or your google map gps fell in Indonesia.

No, it stated 245Km away... but the maps shown it might affect Peninsular Malaysia

Received the alert sometime around 11 p.m. last night. No tremor felt at my place. Based on the displayed map, the quake is on the west coast of Sumatera

I got the notification too but I thought it was from Google

I also received the same notification on my Galaxy mobile by 23:43 on 3rd Nov in India. very useful
