One UI 5.1.1 brings several camera and gallery feature enhancements to eligible Galaxy devices: Z Flip5 users can enjoy improved picture quality on the cover screen and clear video recording with less noise in low light (FlexCam).
Two Color Tone modes (Natural/Warm) are also available. Z Fold5/Flip5 owners will experience improved digital zoom quality in Photo mode through multi-frame compositing and Super Resolution processing (supported model: S23). Z Flip5 users can utilize the larger cover screen for camera functions and view captured videos directly in the gallery (FlexCam).
Z Fold4/Fold3/Fold2 owners can benefit from enhanced usability, enabling easy selection of multiple photos and convenient adjustment of camera settings in Pro/Pro Video mode.
Z Fold5 is equipped with an improved Under Display Camera (UDC) sharpness, utilizing advanced AP performance for HDR multi-frame synthesis and resolution improvement. The ability to sharpen text and remove distractions (fingers) in document scans is supported on the S23 model (One UI 6.0 review pending).
Various editing effects (filters, color tones) applied to one photo can be easily copied and pasted to another photo in the gallery and photo editor. Supported models include Z Fold4/Fold3/Fold2, Z Flip4/Flip3/Flip 5G/Flip, and S23/S22/S21 (to be applied).
The engine now improves blurry photos with fingerprints or foreign objects in photo remastering, with a function to compare desired parts in the remastered results in more detail. Supported models are Z Fold4/Fold3/Fold2, Z Flip4/Flip3/Flip 5G/Flip, and S23/S22/S21 (to be applied).
The video editor gains a clarity function to enhance the three-dimensional effect by making bright areas brighter and dark areas darker. Supported models include Z Fold4/Fold3/Fold2, Z Flip4/Flip3/Flip 5G/Flip, and S23/S22/S21 (to be applied).
