You might want to hide certain apps on your phone to keep your privacy. To do that......

Hide apps

Go to the App Screen > tap on the three-dot icon next to the search bar > Settings > Hide apps on Home and Apps screens > select apps to hide > Done.

Unhide apps

Go to the App Screen > tap on the three-dot icon next to the search bar > Settings > Hide apps on Home and Apps screens > select apps to unhide > Done.

In addition to the above method, you can also use Secure Folder to hide apps. Secure Folder is private and protected by a password or fingerprint.

The best way to hide the app on Android is to use the NovaLauncer ro use Guest Profile if Available

  1. Download and Install Nova Launcher from Play Store.
  2. Now go to app drawer and long-press on the app you want to edit.
  3. Here replace the default name with the new one and tap Done.
  4. You can also change the default icon of the app.
  5. This method will help you to go incognito or camouflage to hide an installed app by changing the name and icon of an app on Android.
