Recently Samsung has stop allowing their Samsung Notes app to run on non-Samsung PC/Laptop/computers other than Samsung Book, you won't able to run the app (installed from Microsoft Store) in Windows 10 or 11 any more.

STEP 1:
In order to run the Samsung Notes for Windows, you have to UNINSTALL the latest version (4.3.182.0 or later) and reinstall the previous version 4.3.150.0 which is working.

STEP 2:
Check the new comment with download links below, and download the file. You may search online for this file, or check the comments below for the download link shared by people or me.
The old methods/steps to download SAMSUNGELECTRONICSCoLtd.SamsungNotes_4.3.150.0_neutral_~_wyx1vj98g3asy.msixbundle file has no longer valid.

STEP 3:
Make sure you have installed Samsung Account App too before using Samsung Notes app.

Login to your Samsung Account after installation. This is important, because Samsung Notes app depending on this app.

STEP 4:
After installation completed, you can login with your Samsung Account and Samsung Notes to sync all contents/notes from your phone.

Foot Notes:
Turn off auto update for Microsoft Store to avoid auto update of Samsung Note to latest version. If you wanted to update all apps, please complete the update MANUALLY one by one for all apps (EXCEPT Samsung Notes).

IF you Accidentally update Samsung Notes.
Repeat above steps to switch Samsung Note version back to 4.3.150.0 (the latest version that works for Non-Samsung/Galaxy PC)

I installed the indicated version on my Asus notebook without problems, but once I open the application it doesn't allow me to log in to my Samsung account.
So the application is useless.

I'm using Windows 10 now without problem. Which version of Samsung note app you installed? You have to uninstall any Samsung Note from your windows first.

Thank you very much, it works!

But now, do I need to block updates to avoid it being overwritten again by the most recent version? If yes, is it possible to do so without globally blocking updates of Windows apps (the only way I found)?

Thank you again,

Roberto

Goto Microsoft Store on Windows start menu, and goto Settings to turn off App Updates.

I did so, but this blocks automatic updates for all Windows apps, which is undesirable. I was asking if other methods are known to stop updating only Samsung Notes, but I understand there aren't.

If you wanted to update all microsoft apps, you can do it and repeat this step for Samsung Note.

You have to turn off the auto update for Microsoft Store entirely.

Hey thanks a lot! I tried this but somehow nothing happens when I click on SAMSUNGELECTRONICSCoLtd.SamsungNotes_4.3.150.0_neutral_~_wyx1vj98g3asy.msixbundle on that website. Also the alternative (http://tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/filestreamingservice/files/1beaa3de-e7f6-43fa-bb19-c619b7309...) just yiels an error (forbidden: "We were unable to satisfy your request due to access control").

Do you have any help on that?

I hope so much I will be able to retrieve my data.

Thanks, Elena
