Getting Back Samsung Notes for PC/Laptop (STILL WORKING IN FEB 2025)

Recently Samsung has stop allowing their Samsung Notes app to run on non-Samsung PC/Laptop/computers other than Samsung Book, you won't able to run the app (installed from Microsoft Store) in Windows 10 or 11 any more.

STEP 1:

In order to run the Samsung Notes for Windows, you have to UNINSTALL the latest version (4.3.182.0 or later) and reinstall the previous version 4.3.150.0 which is working.

STEP 2:

Check the new comment with download links below, and download the file. You may search online for this file, or check the comments below for the download link shared by people or me.

The old methods/steps to download SAMSUNGELECTRONICSCoLtd.SamsungNotes_4.3.150.0_neutral_~_wyx1vj98g3asy.msixbundle file has no longer valid. 

STEP 3:

Make sure you have installed Samsung Account App too before using Samsung Notes app.

Login to your Samsung Account after installation. This is important, because Samsung Notes app depending on this app.

STEP 4: 

After installation completed, you can login with your Samsung Account and Samsung Notes to sync all contents/notes from your phone.

Foot Notes:
Turn off auto update for Microsoft Store to avoid auto update of Samsung Note to latest version. If you wanted to update all apps, please complete the update MANUALLY one by one for all apps (EXCEPT Samsung Notes).

IF you Accidentally update Samsung Notes.
Repeat above steps to switch Samsung Note version back to 4.3.150.0 (the latest version that works for Non-Samsung/Galaxy PC)

Are you saying Microsoft Store or Samsung Notes app?

Hello MIAMI7777,

I just had the same problem. I tried it out, you can download the "Samsung Account" app from the Microsoft Store and log in with your Samsung account. Then you will be redirected to the Samsung Notes app (they are seemingly different). In my case I got all my notes then.

Thank you for the advice. For me, it worked two days ago. Now, it is frozen!! can you help me with this? I installed the the last update that you put it here. The auto update is off, and I reinstalled it some times but it did not work. could you help me out with please.

Try turn off auto update in advance, that include Windows auto update. Do not install latest version, but specific version I mentioned.

Great advice, sadly as of today it looks like the "https://store.rg-adguard.net/" site has updated and the version number is now 4.3.182.0

Do you know of any other place that the old version is available?
