How to write x² in with a samsung keyboard?

i have finally able to solve my prob. i posted the Samsung keyboard version for a reason. when you find that you can type it while i cant, please check your keyboard version first. if your version is more advance than me, of course, you can do more functions than me. just as you can do more things in windows 10 than windows 98.

i did check whether my keyboard version is outdated or not but when click check the new version, the pop-up message is "latest version is installed" so i thought that i got the most updated version and yet i still can't type it then, there must be a bug or i wrongly setting anywhere & that is why i turn to this community, in hoping the Samsung technician can sort of help. i did post in the US community & a Samsung technician reply that they only support US consumers & my version is outdated & not supported in US so ask me to post in my area. 

i check online and found that the current version is version 3.5.43.58 which is dated 15 April 2020. however sadly, my phone can not support this most current version so i just installed the Jan 2020 version & now finally i can type x². my keyboard app finally got the function just like the picture posted by Sy3ney. before this, my version do not have this function so you long press or short press, the output will still be 2.

Yes, the is an alternate keyboard choice which is gboard as suggested by KVCKV but it saves and collects your ID and password in the google browser while you type. i personally feel safer with Samsung pass function. mobile browser tends to be **bleep** & what more is your mobile is stolen.

thank you all for your time & efforts to help. the solution is just to update the driver. if the phone stated the driver as most updated but you feel that it is just not possible then update by downloaded the apk and install it. i have emailed the developer of Samsung keyboard regarding why my phone just can't detect any updates & hopes that there is a reply.
