I had two ideas that I think would make calendar events more practical and personal for everyday users:
1. Cancel without deleting: Sometimes I need to cancel an event but still want it to stay on my calendar for recordkeeping. It would be nice to mark it as “Canceled” (perhaps with a greyed-out or struck-through appearance) instead of deleting it entirely.
2. Automatic year counter for recurring dates: I’d love it if Calendar could show how many years have passed since an event started. For example, my best friend's upcoming anniversary is their “10th Wedding Anniversary” or my niece's “21st Birthday ” in November. It would make tracking milestones a lot easier!
