messages app problem

hey!! im still using samsung Galaxy s7 edge 😞

but there's a little problem, i couldn't send any text messages on messages app. does anyone have any solution?.

I believe Whatsapp officially announced that they are stopping Whatsapp app for older android version and no longer supporting it.

thanks for your reply but i meant the messages app like this one and not the whatsapp my WhatsApp works perfectly fine.

Have you tried checking the message setting from your network provider?
What about using Google message instead?

Wait, isn't Whatsapp required Android 5.0 and up. S7 Edge is Android 8.0 Oreo. I have my Note 5 which is Android 7.0 Nougat and my Whatsapp still work properly

Try using Google Messages, it's minimum Android requirement is Android 5.0..
