Earlier this week, Samsung announced a major update for the SmartThings app. The updated app gets a brand new user interface in addition to performance improvements that significantly speeds up load times.

SmartThings gets a new user interface
The user interface of the updated SmartThings app is more in line with the SmartThings app for Windows 10.Samsungreleased that app last month alongside the new Galaxy Book noteboks. The new user interface divides the app into five different sections called Devices, Favorites, Life, Automations and Menu.
Each section has its own purpose. For example, the Devices section shows the entire list of connected devices. Favorites is the new home screen that brings together your most used devices, services and scenes front and center for easy access.
