OthersWhen googled for this product, S60A was mentioned of built in Alexa. But then unable to make it work.
Tried b/m steps & unfortunately unable to get alexa work. When contacted Samsung Tech, they advised Soundbar bought in Singapore do not support. Seems like Samsung tech team stop solving issues rather disable it. Great work!!! S60T (2020 version) people complained of Alexa issue & in S60A, gave farewell but same model of soundbar sold in other countries have Alexa working. This is another case of Samsung failing Singapore Customers. Good luck to Samsung's future...
- Resetting soundbar
- Added soundbar to Smartthings APP
- Using smartthings app, registered to amazon alexa
- Tried to press multi purpose button on the soundbar to activate Alexa
Anyway, i created this post not to get solution from Samsung. As usual, they will see & ignore. This is to help other customers by not making same mistake as me as website don't mention such things (e.g. cannot delete pre-installed bloatware eating away memory space)...
