Then, is a useless update since AOD wallpaper feature not bring to s23 series.

All AI features are not useful, or I could say not use by many ppl, except for those western countries.

So, samsung will make less customer in Malaysia. Because keep need customer to change phone yearly..

Shame on Samsung if they think s23 series is outdated and cheap

Remember, Samsung sales are more focused on hardware and reason being s23 won't get the aod is due not having ltpo oled screen.

I don't think so, is just a matter the developer want to brainstorming and find the solution to support older phone (just a 1 brand older phone) or not, in this case is s23 series.

Why other branded phone like xiaomi and other, not LTPO screen, but able to support AOD wallpaper?

That just my point of view, and yes ,could be ppl dun like my comments..

Xiaomi able to support AOD wallpaper since the 12 series as they introduced the ltpo screen till current 14 series. Have to take in consideration for such AOD as AOD is the number 1 reason for battery consumption that's why I think in previous model wouldn't be improved till they find another way for AOD not to consume much battery. That's also another reason why LCD screen don't support AOD.

But, s23 is not normal LCD, is dynamic AMOLED. It should be able to support and less consume battery compared with LCD. But yes, it cannot compare with LTPO.

Yes, I agree with you but have to understand both ltpo and dynamics save energy but ltpo is much more upgraded version of it which can save up to 15%-20% more battery and ltpo refresh rate can be low as 1hz compared to dynamics can go low as 30hz
