One UI 5.1.1 firmware for older devices like phones, tablets, and watches. Devices like Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Z Fold 2, and Z Flip will get updates. These updates bring features from newer products to older ones, like customizable toolbars in Flex mode and a 10-second fast forward/rewind option in the media player.There are new drag and drop gestures to move content between apps using two hands. The task bar now switches faster and shows four recently used apps. These improvements also apply to tablets like Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S7, and more.
For watches, the new firmware improves sleep monitoring and sleep coaching. It adjusts SmartThings devices for better sleep atmospheres. Sports records benefit from personalized heart rate zones, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users can download map data through "Track Running." Upgraded watches can control Z Flip phones for pictures. This new system starts with Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, then moves to Watch 4 models.
