Celebrated on the fourth Thursday of April, “Take Your Child to Work Day” is a nationally recognized day that gives children a glimpse into the working world. The day, which was created by the Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Foundation, allows parents to take their children to work in order to expose them to future job possibilities and reinforce the value of education.
This year marked Samsung Electronics America’s second annual virtual “Take Your Child to Work From Home Day, as a result of the pandemic. Many of our employees’ children have made cameos on video calls since we made the transition to remote work in March 2020, but this day was especially for them.
Children of all were welcomed into the spotlight on April 22nd and joined various Take Your Child to Work Day webinars. We hosted two leader sessions where our youngest Samsung team members got introduced to the brand, our culture two members of our Executive Team. We also challenged their Samsung knowledge through an interactive trivia session on Kahoot!
