Samsung Smart TV: Issue playing external subs

I own NU7090 but I can't seemed to be able to get the subtitles on

Before anyone tell me to rename all the file and folders the same name, I did, nothing happened

This is frustrating

Thank you for your patient, please try below steps.

1. Need to turn ON the subtitle setting (default is OFF)
Settings - General - Accessibility - Subtitle - Settings - Subtitle

2. Please make sure the subtitle format is correct.
.ttxt, .smi, .srt, .sub, .sub or .txt, .ssa, .ass & .xml

Remarks : This subtitles function has no relationship with the features for controlling sub-titles of DVD or Blu-ray players.

To control DVD or Blu-ray subtitles, kindly use the sub-title feature of the DVD or Blu-ray player and the player's remote control.
