OthersThe primary bug causing the postponement of the One UI 7 update rollout is a serious issue related to the device unlocking process. After installing the update, some users experienced difficulty unlocking their phones, particularly those using a password or PIN. This bug was initially discovered on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
Elaboration:
• Unlocking Issues:
The core problem is that users cannot unlock their devices after the One UI 7 update, rendering their phones essentially unusable.
• Multiple Devices Affected:
The issue seems to affect both the Exynos and Snapdragon versions of the Galaxy S24 series, suggesting it's not hardware-specific.
• Global Impact:
Samsung paused the One UI 7 rollout globally, including in South Korea, due to this critical bug.
• Roadmap Removed:
Samsung removed its official One UI 7 roadmap, hinting at a more significant delay and potential major revisions.
• Keyboard Bug:
While there were initial reports of an issue with the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard and the Enter key, Sammy Guru reports that this has been addressed by Microsoft. The new issue seems to stem from One UI 7 itself.
• Samsung's Reaction:
Samsung immediately halted the update rollout after identifying this serious bug, indicating its commitment to user experience.
• No Official Timeline:
There's no official timeline for when the update will resume, as Samsung is currently investigating the issue.

OthersThis is really ridiculous. If I not mistaken, the Gemini issue cause the unlocked issue actually has already been spotted during S23 Ultra beta 2 release (because European users has reported it) and it also cause the homescreen freeze and crash, it has been almost 2 - 3 weeks ago, so... supposing S24 series should have the same issue, but why Samsung now only need to fix it and intentionally pause the release. Why they not fix it 2 - 3 weeks ago?
