OthersMy understanding is it's depending on Telco. I used to put in my MY card to check when the updates are announced .Most of the time I get the updates earlier.

OthersHello Mr James. I am Faiz, from Samsung.
We truly understand your concern in this matter. We wish to highlight that firmware upgrades are released gradually only after passing several technical tests and will be released batch by batch. We seek your patience and kind understanding in this matter.
Once it is ready for your device, you will be prompted to perform the updates on your device or you can easily check and upgrade your device to the latest software if available by following the steps below:
- From the Home screen, go to Menu
- Select Setting
- Select About device
- Select Software updates
- Check for Updates.
- If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now.
When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of the software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
Thank You.
