For a start, I think not necessary. Learn how to compose the picture. Use the Photo mode. This is available in Note 9. Not sure if available on newer models. Photo mode is fully automatic. Search YouTube for how to compose your photo, e.g. landscape, pets, portrait, babies (avoid using flash), etc. Turn on Scene Optimiser too. Hope this helps. Have fun
