Samsung has released a Galaxy S22 feature to other Samsung devices. Erasing shadows and reflections is now possible with the latest photo editor update. I updated the photo editor on my Galaxy S20+ just now and tried out these new features. These new features can be found under the object eraser feature. If these new features do not appear after updating the app, go to the Labs settings, and enable both shadow and reflection erasers.
When I decided to erase shadows in some pictures, these pictures became brighter.
I tried my best in removing as many reflections as possible. However, the reflection eraser was not able to erase all the reflections. As a result, some reflections are still there despite multiple attempts of trying to erase more reflections. To circumvent this problem, I had to use the object eraser to erase reflections that could not be erased by the reflection eraser.
Since these new features are in the beta phase of development, there could be a few issues.
These edited pictures just look more stunning and enhanced. It's way better than the pictures taken before edits were made.
