25W charging to be enabled?

I have seen so many people on reddit asking for Samsung to flip the switch and enable 25W fast charging on the S10 series. Supposedly the hardware supports it, since the S10 5G can charge at 25W with no additional hardware. Most competing phones (minus the iPhone) can now charge at speeds faster than 15W and I believe it's in Samsung's best interest to make 25W charging happen.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!!! All you people braying like defective donkeys for features that are physically impossible on on the s10 series. For the love of whatever deity you worship please get a **bleep** clue. I am at my wits end when I read post because it is incorrect information 90% of the time or it is post like the one above. I mean there is a fool posting that going to developer settings and slowing down animation somehow makes the device better or people complaining of bugs during a beta. Aaacccckkkk!!!

The hardware on this phone is not designed to dissipate the heat generated by 25W wireless charging and "flipping the switch" on that feature would result in a lot of damaged phones. The 25W wireless charging does not work well on the S10 5G. There are reports of phone is too hot error messages during charging and of the system shutting down apps during charging. Only the 5G model experiences those problems.

Indeed, the S10 series will not be getting 25W charging due to this. And yes the 5G model has a lot of issues because of it.
