Accent Color not working

In developer options there's a option to change the Accent Color and it doesn't seem to be working

or do I need to restart my phone to see the effect.

I've changed it, restarted, but still not working. Only thing that works in that section is icon shape. But only a few icons change. Maybe it's something they'll improve on with future updates.

I believe people stated that the developer mode isn't working and we should send feedback to Samsung about it since there ain't an easy fix

That's a stock Google feature and may not work due to Samsung theme methods because it works on my pixel.

Accent colors do work, however you must be very careful to avoid country blue and dusty rose (mauve) else you will have an 80's style nightmare... As far as your phone goes parts of the developer section is broken.
