Android Auto issue

I cannot control android auto with the control on my Acura ILX. The interface comes up, but it is stuck on Google Maps.

The interface comes up but the cursor/ highlight is not visible. I can use the wheel control on the car, but I cannot see what button is selected.

try opening developer settings in the AA app and enabling request video focus on start

Thanks for the reply. I found the setting and enabled it. I'll try it out tomorrow.

No luck. Cursor highlight still not visible. I changed the setting on my phone. Would changing it when connected to the car make a difference?

my android auto is having issues. being very laggy and Google maps cant find location all the time. also google assistant on it is not really working well at all.

I did a factory reset and things seem to be working again. Doing this does delete the icon in the app drawer, but you can access settings through Settings->Apps
