Before I started using the beta I had Dark mode on. It is still on throughout everything BUT in the drop menu it claims it's off and says when clicked on Dark Mode can't be used while a theme is being used. What is that about?
You have NEVER been able to use a theme with dark mode. The confusion comes because some people are running dark themes. This is not the same as dark mode.
I'm not using a theme. Dark mode appears to be enabled but since Beta 2 the toggle shows that it's not enabled and changing the toggle doesn't stick. I also have the force apps dark mode option enabled in Developer Options but it was also enabled in beta 1.
a theme cannot be used when dark mode is enabled. It even tells you so when you go to enable a theme. If you claim you dont have dark mode on, check developer options and see if you have accidently clicked force enable dark mode on. but dark mode is made to save battery life as well as a few other things. adding a theme on top would be counter intitive. there are themes that also have dark settings if you choose too go that route, butboth cannot be applied at the same time.
